Power Sound of New England has been serving houses of worship and businesses the with old-fashioned customer care and new cutting edge technology since 1969. Though we specialize in church sound systems and church video projection we serves other industries as well. Our customers includes schools, arenas, stadiums as well as smaller Catholic churches and houses of worship.

Or goal is to offer a custom system for each customer's unique space, budget and performance needs. Often the design and installation is just the beginning. Our relationship with our customers lasts far beyond.

We've created the blog to talk about some of our projects and new technologies within the audio visual systems industry.

School Audio and Video Solutions

Holderness School - arena audio system installation from PSNE.
Holderness School; Plymouth New Hampshire – Ice Arena
At PSNE we do much more than great church sound and video projects. One of the projects we discussed on our website before its summer renovation was about a School rink audio system. We think its topical as so many schools look to us for arena, rink, cafetorium and clasroom AV installations.

Ice Arena Audio System Renovation
Holderness School, Plymouth, NH
Holderness School Ice Arena with rink audio from PSNE.
Audio for game calling and/or music
Holderness School’s covered ice rink is home to the Holderness Bulls hockey teams. This outdoor covered rink features a new state-of-art audio system designed for the arena environment from Power Sound of New England; chosen to provide a custom sound system to synchronize with the start of the 2009-2010 hockey season. In the sound system design indoor-outdoor speakers were selected to accommodate the covered, open-air arena.

What is it? This is a straightforward ice arena sound system featuring professional JBL speakers for sound coverage that puts life into live sports action. The custom rink sound system was designed with sports in mind and features a microphone and a music input in the booth as well as an audio output controller with four sound coverage settings. A flexible arena audio system that’s easy to operate; it offers settings for speaker coverage to the rink, to the bleachers and walkways, or all.

For audio system security: The power switch is activated with a key so only authorized personnel can turn the system on or off.
