Leading the Way in Professional Audio Visual Systems Design for Churches, Schools, and Commercial applications

Power Sound of New England has been serving houses of worship and businesses the with old-fashioned customer care and new cutting edge technology since 1969. Though we specialize in church sound systems and church video projection we serves other industries as well. Our customers includes schools, arenas, stadiums as well as smaller Catholic churches and houses of worship.

Or goal is to offer a custom system for each customer's unique space, budget and performance needs. Often the design and installation is just the beginning. Our relationship with our customers lasts far beyond.

We've created the blog to talk about some of our projects and new technologies within the audio visual systems industry.

Church Security System provides peace of mind

Another Featured Project from the archives...

A NH Church's Security and Surveillance System

At PSNE we're gearing up to launch our newly designed website. And in an effort to keep available some of the AV Ststem Projects features that have been most popular, we are re-sharing the stories here. Our Lady of the Mountains in North Conway New Hampshire called on PSNE for their video security system...

Our Lady of the Mountains is a large contemporary two story building with multiple entrances. While it is increasinly common for churches to keep door locked, Fr. Don and the parish council wanted to find a way to be more accessible for parishioners wanting to visit the parish or worship at times other than scheduled Mass times. The goal they asked us to achieve was to design a church security system to allow the parish to open their church to the congregation more hours, more days. To do this they chose Power Sound for the design and installation of a custom Church Security System.

Monitor offers all-cameras view.
Power Sound's audiovisual design team felt strongly that church security could be implemented, specific to the unique features of the facility, in order to be most effective by monitoring all entrances. A benefit of this system is the multi-view monitor. It displays images of all seven camera locations. When an entrance is accessed the corresponding monitor image flashes red accompanied by an audible tone. The system offers the parish the ability to be as “open door” as they WANT, combined with the safety parishes NEED.
Never have parishioners needed their Church as much as now. Yet today, for security, most parishes require locked doors at all times. Planning for more church security is essential. Church Video Security offers ways to record sensitive areas. At OLOM, the main office has ability to record on demand, at pre-programmed times or 24/7. Optionally, sound may be recorded as needed.

“Excellent...again!”
“We’d been researching other companies for our video security system. Power Sound did such a wonderful job with our new sound system, we knew we wanted them, hands down, for the security project also. Having cameras at all entrances provides a real sense of security. The PSNE team is great. Julius really listened to our concerns and needs and responded to them. Very professional.”

With customized church surveillance, any space may be monitored 24/7 from the office or remotely via smartphone, tablet or ipad. Flexible security systems allow churches to monitor both interior and exterior locations as needed. Offering peace of mind and the ability to keep the church more open, more often.
