Power Sound of
New England installed video projection, as a 3-part project, at St. Agnes
Parish in Dalton. Like many parishes with plans for comprehensive Audio Visual
system renovation, the parish decided to have PSNE propose a master plan for
the AV system design that could be executed in phases that accommodated
schedules and budgets. Overall, the parish wanted video
projection for the sanctuary, the chapel and the Academy.
The first phase
of the project was completed back in the fall and the timing was not mere coincidence.
Hymns, religious imagery and
bulletins can be prominently
displayed on two large screens.

Angled large-format screens provide
beautiful views from every pew.

Fr. Chris
Malatesta was enthusiastic when we asked how the parish was enjoying the new
video system in the sanctuary…
“We love it!"
“Maintaining
church aesthetics was incredibly important to us. We had no need to worry; after installation
prior to first use I actually had to point the (retracted) screens out to
parishioners
who
had not noticed the new equipment. They blended nicely. Very attractive.”

In the next PSNE blog post, we will showcase the features of
the new AV installation at both the chapel and the Academy of St. Agnes Parish.
